A class from Pius X School showed up at ATCO Dakota to help plant trees. At school, there is a small garden that the children themselves planted.
Eddy de Veer, CEO of MetaCorp, indicated that at ATCO Dakota there is a project of planting trees with the help of Puis X School. This school is very active in the world of planting and cultivating trees. The decision was made to beautify the ATCO yard by planting 192 trees.
This was the beginning of an initiative to have their own place with access to water and to plant trees. That's how they help beautify Aruba.
MetaCorp/ATCO also donated ten thousand florins to the school to continue with their garden project. A project dedicated to the environment.

On May 11th, a special group of students from Pius X School joined MetaCorp to take the first step toward a greener future through our environmental initiative, Planta pa Futuro.
As part of this project, students will help plant the first Green Buttonwood trees around the perimeter of the ATCO Dakota property. In total, 192 trees will be planted throughout the project area, creating a greener landscape, improving the environment, and contributing to Aruba's natural beauty for generations to come.

This initiative reflects MetaCorp's commitment to sustainability, community involvement, and environmental responsibility. By involving young students in this project, we hope to inspire future generations to care for nature and understand the importance of protecting and improving our island.

The selected Green Buttonwood trees are well-suited for Aruba's climate, offering durability, shade, wind resistance, and natural greenery that will continue to grow and strengthen over time.
