MOVIE THEATERS
The day in 1920 Shon 'Eddy' de Veer traded his wedding-gift pianola for Nadi Henriquez' motion-picture projection equipment is the day the movies became a thriving business in Aruba. It also marks the birth of the modern day E. De Veer chain theaters. Since then, 'The Movies' have grown into first class movie entertainment experiences in Aruba and Curaçao.
BOTTLING
The Tropical Bottling Company is recognized as the largest industrial company in the beverage industrial sector. Tropical Bottling Company is the official bottler of the Coca-Cola portfolio, distributor of the Bacardi and Monster Energy portfolio’s as well as the beer portfolio consisting of Balashi, Chill and Mango that are brewed by Brouwerij Nacional Balashi.
TRANSPORT
ATCO Aruba started as the E. de Veer Transport company in 1928 and was incorporated in 1963. ATCO Aruba has come a long way in the last half century and now covers different markets such as heavy equipment rentals, container hauling, heavy lifts, demolition, land cleaning and more.
CONCRETE
APEX, formerly known as ATCO Concrete, was established in 1985 to meet the demand of ready-to-mix concrete in Aruba. APEX produces and delivers, next to ready-mix concrete, state-of-the-art blocks and pavers, hollow core floor slabs as well as it delivers and sells aggregates.
WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING
Established in 1985, Ecotech Aruba offers a complete waste management program consisting of waste collection for commercial, industrial, medical, residential and maritime clients. All the collected waste is brought to Ecotech’s sister company, Ecotech Free Zone, a state-of-the-art waste separation plant built in 2009.

CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
Antillean Soap Company was established in 1978 and is located in Curacao. In October of 2021, MetaCorp welcomed ANSO as the newest member of the MetaCorp family. ANSO manufactures a wide spectrum of cleaning products; from liquids to powders and bar soaps. Their products are sold in various markets; Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Maarten, Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad, Suriname and the Netherlands.
